Harrison Hot Springs in Canada

We decided to do something a little different this year for Halloween. We drove up to Canada for a nice weekend at Harrison Hot Springs. John grew up going there with his parents for vacations and wanted to share the same experience with us. It was relaxing and very quiet, almost too quiet for me...haha. Very small town with not much to do other than spend time at the resort.

It was Kelly's, my mom's and my first time swimming in a hot spring. It was nice and warm, but we learned that you really need to watch the temperature and make sure you're hydrated when swimming in mineral water. Kelly loves pools and had a great time swimming with her Elmo tube, just like she did in Hawaii. :)

John even managed to get in a little golf, he was one of the only one's playing, but he enjoyed it. We stayed for two nights and headed to Richmond for some dim sum and shopping on our way back to Seattle. It's about an hour and half drive from the resort to Richmond, but since we were already in Canada, we had to take advantage of the good food! :) Here's the link to the resort and some pictures. http://www.harrisonresort.com/
